David Del Sontro has been a recognized leader in satellite communications, RF design, and ground system testing for four decades. As the President and Founder of DelSontro Enterprises, he has led technical consulting and strategic innovation on numerous satellite programs, driving advancements in RF engineering, component production, and satellite assembly, integration, and test (AI&T).

Throughout his career, David has excelled in every phase of satellite development. His deep technical acumen has fostered a holistic understanding of satellite system design, and how each facet works cohesively to create the most efficient spacecraft. This comprehensive approach enables him to anticipate vulnerabilities that are often unnoticed in the design phase. This mitigates complex challenges that commonly result in costly delays during integration and testing. His demonstrated foresight has made him a sought-after expert in guiding programs toward efficiency and reliability from the outset. It is this vision that leads the DelSontro Enterprises Team.

David has worked with major aerospace and defense organizations including NASA, Northrop Grumman, Lockheed Martin, Mitsubishi, NEC, Raytheon, Airbus, the European Space Agency, and Boeing. He has played a pivotal role in shaping satellite technology, contributing to high-profile commercial, defense, and government programs. Among these are notable projects such as ACES, Thuraya, Inmarsat, Iridium NEXT, ASBM, ARABSAT-6, JCSat 17, Hylas, and the GOES Satellite Network. His ability to optimize satellite design, engineer RF payload testing, streamline satellite manufacturing processes, and develop universal test systems has set industry benchmarks.
